This was rejected for 'subject too far away.' I'm not going to appeal or complain...just thought I'd share before it goes away.

It's a nice photos and you captured both a good looking train and the ground around it a lot better than I in this shot

Im not going to beg you to appeal but it would make sense to do that before posting it here in the forum....

This was rejected for 'subject too far away.'

I never saw this reason for rejection, but if pictures out of airplanes and atop buildings get accepted, what's the logic with this one? Nice shot!

Thanks for the replies and comments guys. I decided to break my vow of appeal silence and appeal the rejection...now I'm just waiting for a reply....

Beautiful shot! Here is a photo I had rejected for "too far away". I think it was because of how much track is in front of the loco. I was going to crop it, but the photo is kind of blurry anyway.

Sweet, my first successful appeal!

mtrails, I like that shot, though it is blurry, but still, nice angle.
