I've never asked for advice on the forum because usually with a little fiddling I can get my shots through. I've tried several different versions of this one, including black and white, but still no luck, so I'm turning to you guys and gals to finally convince me to give up.

The photo looks fine to me. Maybe just a tiny bit of exposure increase?

And I do mean tiny.

The image looks off to me. Has a blue cast that should be addressed. Agree with slight exposure increase. You may need to use some layers and masks to prevent blowout.

Hmm, I see it differently. Oh oh! :) I see a cloud shadow covering all but the foliage in the background on the other side of the road, and evidence of someone working hard in processing to overcome that deficiency. I say put it aside, as far as RP goes.

Regardless, it looks better than a good few of the 4449 shots accepted.

I'm with J... I think you got skunked by a cloud. I'm sorry. It would have been a gorgeous shot.

Thanks, guys, that's the encouragement I needed to finally let this one go. Indeed, I was making the best attempt I could to salvage the photo after being...how do you say....cloud...well, I guess as a pastor I shouldn't repeat it...;)

We've had a few galleries on the forum here of late and people like to post, but I'm sure that if we started a Could-****** gallery it would be the longest of all time! I'm *still* a little bitter about a shot from two summers ago, maybe three, lost track now.

It didn't do so well. Perhaps my thread title sucked or something.

Yeah, bummer, you didn't start the title with "Gallery:", makes perfect sense now, maybe next time! :)

http://bestsmileys.com/doh/2.gif Silly me...I should have known "post a picture" wouldn't sink in to anyone's head like "gallery" does.
