Manual or AF

Hello everyone,

I'm thinking about saving up my money to purchase a DSLR.
I want to know if it's better to Manual focus your train,or have the camera AF the train?

I have had experiences with both MF and AF SLRs, not DSLRs, but I can tell you that I prefer MF a lot more. It may just be my camera but, the auto focus takes to long to focus. Sometimes it second-guesses itself and trys to re-focus, as the train passes by!! Its annoying, but then again I figure that DSLRs have very little lag time between shots......so its your choice.
