The original version of this shot was rejected for being too dark. After looking at it for a minute, I decided the screener was right and asked one of my friends to brighten it. Here was the result, but it was rejected for bad cropping. I asked the screener what to do to fix it in an appeal, and it was rejected again with no response. I would very much like the screeners to be more helpful with a rejected photo, instead of saying only "rejected" and not helping to improve.
