Why is this overexposed when sun is doing that to the shot?

How can I work that to get to better standards?

It's just a hair over exposed and the sun directly on the nose herald might also be fooling the screeners.

I'm no screener, but to me that's less overexposed than the first one. Both seem very close to being good.

Thanks. Must just be the screener tonight who sees differently then we do. Thanks for the imput.

I tried it again with this shot I got oversharpend and un leval but I dont see it being un leval, I levaled it with the straighting tool and to me thats as straight as it comes.

Ok, it's The color thats washed out not over exposed, The low light is much more yellow to it and AWB toned your colors down.
