I'm asking permission across the board to see if it's o.k. if I could use various photographers photos to create computer desktop wallpapers. The wallpapers will used for for viewing pleasure & for use as computer desktop wallpapers. Would any photographers object to me using their photos?

Its best to ask each individual photographer through the contact form. Everyone has different views on this.

No selling of photos are involved. Just sharing for others to see. Should I remove the ones I've posted already?

I was under the impression that he just wanted to use it as a desktop wallpaper on his personal PC, not sell anything.
IMHO, if you are so anal that you find it offensive or think it's not OK for some random person to use your pictures as their personal wallpaper on his pc, you have problems, and shouldnt be posting pictures online. My opinion anyway.
If, he's looking to do some sort of commercial thing, sure, but I did not get that impression.

He is distributing wallpaper to other people. He is generating his own stuff under his own name and sending it to others. Doesn't matter if he is giving them away or selling them, that crosses a line, for me.

There's a simple solution. If you don't want your shots to be used, don't shoot wedgies. Problem solved.

Agreed, Janusz. I noticed the copyright on the wallpapers had been pulled and that crosses a line with me. I don't condone what he's doing and in a way, consider it as copyright infringement despite the fact that he's not profiting off of it.

It's a general misunderstanding of the law that to infringe on a copyright means you have to make money off it. If you wish, I'll send you the contact information from a local weekly newspaper that can tell you this simply is not the case.
