Got a bad color on this one and i'm not sure what adjustment is needed, i'm thinking more saturation. http://www.railpictures.net/viewreject.php?id=794655&key=708634704 And same with this one, i'm thinking more saturation. http://www.railpictures.net/viewreject.php?id=794665&key=791978620

The first shot, doesn't look like there is any color there to saturate! :) It looks a little shifted toward magenta.
The second, maybe the same also, hard to tell as I am just not a fan of the shot. My eye keeps wanting to go down in the frame, and especially to the bulkhead flat, and not to the train. Plus, it is all full of shadow.

Yea its that time of year where there isn't much color up here and a black and white engine didn't help. What about converting the first one to black and white?

My first guess is that the shot would be a bore, not much variation in tonality, black engines and solid gray everything else. Can't hurt to try.
You can certainly fix the color shift. Also, you have the shot formatted as a near-square, RP does not go for that, find a crop that gets you to at least a 5:4 ratio.

The shot looked a little red to me first, but when I opened it up in PS, it actually turned to be too cold and blue. I gave it a +10 warming filter to start with, which helped a lot. A little bit of selective color adjustments after that should get you something workable.
