Bad Cropping

I do not think so! It is a good shot considering the weather, and it is hard to take pictures of trains in the snow. Not much you can do without losing the setting.

Didn't you have a shot pretty similar to this accepted already?

Yes, I had a similar one a bit further up, from where this photo was taken, and it was accepted. I just thought it was interesting to send because it was kicking up snow.
