Advice on repairing rejected photo

Hey All,

Hope some of you guys can help me with this one.

Here's the rejection history that got it to where it is now:

1) bad cropping
2) bad cropping (again)
3) horizon not level
4) bad angle (CURRENT)

I re-cropped and tweaked with the image after each rejection, trying to get things just right. Now I'm asking for advice.

What would you do to fix the angle on this picture?

If requested I can post the full-size, un-cropped, un-touched image.

You can't really fix a bad angle, unfortunately. The photo also seems to be a bit out of focus.

The bad angle rejection stems from the fact that this is a very common set of power shot from the standard 3/4 "wedgie" angle. As you guys all know we have more than enough of these type of shots in the database....we are just looking for a little creativity.

I'm still fairly new to doing more serious photography and submitting some of my stuff to RP.net, so I hope you'll bear with me as I try to figure out how to hone my skills and find what works best for me. So far, I know for a fact that finding different and creative shots is my weakness. At least I know though, and it's something that I can start working on. Hopefully that's something that will come with time.

I certainly recognize that the 3/4 wedgies will come under more scrutiny than other types simply b/c they are so common. Throwing a very common loco in the mix didn't help, although that's all I had at the time.

I'll keep heading back to the same location and see if I can't come up with a more creative shot than a 3/4 wedgie. A better perspective and something more interesting that a CSX GE widecab might dress things up a little bit.

I'm sure that I'll be back in the future looking for more tips on getting creative shots and how to help them pass the screener test.
