KCS Orders 30 New SD70ACe's

KCS has ordered 30 new SD70ACe locomotives from the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors Corporation to be delivered in fourth quarter 2005.

It looks like EMD is having fairly good response to their new offering. NS has ordered 52 SD70M-2's, UP has ordered 115 SD70ACe's, Montana Rail Link Ordered I think 12 SD70ACe's.

Should be interesting. I'm glad to see the SD70ACe is getting some good orders.
