What, they don't make jackets or ties in youth sizes anymore?

Well done, Chase. Except for your appearance. :)

On looking at the video again the helmet hair and outfit reminded me of Star Wars Luke Skywalker
How did you handle all the media pressure? You look kinda nervous, mind you I don't know how I'd handle that myself.
What gear does the press of WV use?

Nice job, Chase. And all this time I've been pronouncing your last name incorrectly.

Are you saying his name to yourself in the mirror or something? :)

On Youtube as well? I cannot keep up with all of it.

Joking aside, thanks for pointing this out. I look like an emotional wreck, but I blame the folks in charge for not telling me what to do, but to just go along with whatever happened.

How did you find this? Googling my name again?

 You're too kind.

As for the gear used, I'm uncertain, but it appeared to be Canon. The gentleman who took the video appeared to be from PBS, but we never exchanged any words. Sort of odd that I've appeared on Youtube now, yet he didn't approach me for any additional information for the bit.

A wee bit on the voyeur side. :)

Thanks to the rest of you for the kind words.

Chase

Well, after seeing your photo on facebook, I decided to google "Chase Gunnoe West Virginia" to see if I could come up with a news article or something else that I could post here to honour you - Looks like I was successful ;)

How thoughtful of you. I take back all those mean things I've said to you and behind your back. ;)

Congratulations, Chase!...not only for having your work recognized by a major railroad, but also by the WV Legislature! Pretty cool indeed. What are you planning for an encore? ;)

I do think that the rural state governments do a nice job of recognizing the citizenry for their accomplishments. Little NH up my way is like that. So different from my home state of MA, just across the border. Down here, I'm not sure I would want to be recognized by the State Legislature. The last three Speakers of the Massachusetts House have been indicted :(

Charles Flaherty Democrat 1991–April 9, 1996 27th Middlesex District Resigned - plead guilty to tax evasion

Thomas Finneran Democrat April 9, 1996–September 28, 2004 12th Suffolk District Resigned - plead guilty to obstruction of justice charges

Salvatore DiMasi Democrat September 28, 2004–January 27, 2009 3rd Suffolk District Resigned - charged with rigging of state contracts

By comparison, West Virginia is "almost heaven".

Hmmmm...what do all three of those indicted Speakers have in common? That's right, they were all male.

BTW, I just assumed Chase's awkwardness in that video was a by-product of being homeschooled...he had to socially interact with real people!

Also, I hear Riddell is interested in making a new helmet for the NFL based on your hair...so that's awesome!

Roasting is fun...

Don't we have a Richard Thompspn here that posts (posted?) to RP?

Seriously, this is very neat, Chase. Next time you get stopped by an LEO or security guard, be sure to ask, "Don't you know who I am?"

This is why I do academic debate. Solves for both hair and pressure. Me at a recent tournament (https://picasaweb.google.com/crazytiger94/GAOpen#5584128177623168482).
(Sorry, I didn't take the time to edit to RP standards. Jim's gonna kill me, and the color is off too).

A little less serious (http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/197095_1657985848466_1201711121_31478339_7565697_n .jpg).
