This is the second time it got rejected for the Horizon being unlevel after I fixed it. It looks ok to me now. The signal might be throwing them off as it is tipped to the right. Nothing I can do about that one :) Could anyone maybe rotate the photo for me to get it looking straight? I think its a really great shot and I would like to see it accepted. If someone could I would grealy appreciate it. My email is

Thanks again!

Try rotating it about 1-2 degrees CCW. The post in front of the signal is also leaning as well as the scanner and the trees in the background. While the signal may lean to the right, in the photo it looks on the verge of falling over. So, a CCW rotation should help you there.

Yeah, i have gotten that a couple times, especally on night shots. The signal is tipped as well as everything else, its not your photo. Nice shot though, i wish RR pictures would accept more night blur shots like that one.

That's a great shot. Unfortunately, none of the screeners think so.

I have not had a opening yet to talk about these shots, but this is as good as any. Personally, I don't know what the appeal is. Like was said, everything's a blur. It's hard to get a standing-still shot of an engine on a cloudy day accepted, but yet night time streak shots are accepted (and have a following). But, again, that's just my opinion...

Can someone help explain the appeal of these shots?

The appeal to me is it just looks really cool! Its an artsy type of shot. You have to have a little variety then your regular day time action or roster photos.
