This photo was rejected for a "bad angle":

I thought it was an interesting shot. I'm new to attempting to appeal photos. Is this shot worth it? Can this be worked on? Or should I let it go?

Putting the rejected photo link may help, and the forum's panel of experts (and I use the term loosely :D ) can give you advice.

If you take the link replace "queued" with "reject" it will work.

I assume this is it?

Its not bad, except for the fact you had to step into the gauge of the track to get it. You should not do that obviously.

Best place for "head on" shots is on a curve: (hopefully RP won't mind me linking this - I know its too dark!!)

Notice I didn't have go anywhere near the track to get it.

Yep, that's the photo. I'll agree with that, but I thought that being that I was on one of those Pedestrian crossings that it might not be taken as standing in the gauge. Oh well. Thanks for the help though.

Ok i've got another question, I took this shot below:
http://www.railpictures.net/viewreject.php?id=97074

It was first rejected for size, so I fixed that. Then it was rejected for "bad cropping". I attemped to fix that, which gave me this:
http://www.railpictures.net/viewreject.php?id=97606

Which was then rejected for being "undersharpened" which I have a feeling has to do with reducing the size in the beginning. Is there any help for this photo? Or should I give up on this one and try something else?

It is a little on the soft side. Try sharpening it a little bit and see what you come up with.

Sure, just use the sharpen edge feature in your photo editor.

Its makes a very nice portrait shot. Nice job.

It was finally accepted after a few corrections.
