I keep hearing that CP is going to paint several SOO engines into CP colors and was wondering if indeed this is going to happen and to what engines if it is true?

Thanks,
Matt

It's already happened, and a few ex SOO SD60's are already sporting CP red.

Link below is example of one.

The whole SD60 fleet is getting overhauled renumbered and repainted CAD Rail in Montreal, Quebec.

Those repaints actually look pretty sharp.

They are repainting all these ex-UP and BNSF GE's and SD60's delivered in the 90's, but they still have Milwaukee Road units still running around in original paint, love the priorities...

CP doesnt have any Dash 8's....thats CN your thinking off. The SD60's are only being painted because they are going through a complete rebuild. The bandits are being painted....slowly. A couple years ago CP announced they would do a Milwaukee and Soo heritage unit like they have for D&H, it would be great to see a MILW geep in fresh orange and black with the Hiawathah logo.
