When amtrak faces a problem such as graffeti on a material handeling car
( http://www.railmerchants.net/amtrak-material-handling/AmtrakMaterialHandling/images/DSC00311.jpg ) will amtrak repaint the car or leave the graffeti on? I would think that they would repaint...but then again, its just a boxcar... ;)
Amtrak has to keep their image up so they paint over any graffiti as soon as possible. I've only ever seen 1 P42 with graffiti on it.

I agree, they probably pressure wash it off too, as another option.
They need to find the genetic mutants who do this and force them to remove it themselves with spit and a toothbrush. After they are done cleaning off their garbage, hang them in public to ensure they never do it again.

I agree w/ ya 4kV!
Note how those cars have there Amtrak reporting marks whited out also. I suppose that pic was post Amtrak-getting-rid-of-express-service era [I still cant understand why they did that, but thats another story].
