I know that's going to make some people very happy. :)
Interesting little article. Its nice hear that Canada just might get some high speed rail service. Sounds a little expensive though but I think its definately worth it.

But why not in the Quebec-Windsor Corridor? Here, there are so many large cities: Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec, Hamilton, London, Windsor, etc... Calgary and Edmonton are like the only sizable cities in Alberta. :(

The only reason I can think of is that VIA Rail currently doesn't server Calgary.
