Hi ICE,

As you requested a few weeks back I went to Germany and shot a few dozen trains. A fwe of them are uploaded now and more will be uploaded in the next hour or possibly tomorrow if it takes longer then expected.

Yes i saw!

Beautiful! Good job! I even commented on one (the Bombardier Talent).

And I agree, the new double deckers are so ugly.

Also, I think DB should never have decided to paint their trains in only two colors (ICE-scheme for ICE, IC, EC, and IR - Traffic-Red for RE, RB, S). I think Deutsche Bahn should have kept the orange for S, green for RE/RB, red for IC/EC, and blue for IR, plus a that special scheme for ICE.

Thanks ICE,

you'd be surprised to know that these trains can also run with one carriage instead of two combined. Of course that train set has a drivers cabin on both sides of the train.

I saw such a train at Dusseldorf yesterday on my way back. Because I was in the last train home, getting of to make a pic was definately not an option!

I'll be uploading another 13 pics (all German except for 1 historic Dutch electric train). Mostly trains from the same type as the ones uploaded yesterday, but different numbers and angles.

By the way,

what's "usw"?

You ought to know that one!

usw is short for the German "undsoweiter", in proper English that means etc.

BTW, you may have already seen them but I uploaded the last pics. It includes a 1940s vintage Dutch electric train!

May I ask what you thought it was suposed to mean? A new kind of railway? In case you had not noticed, the entire title is German. Easy to read over, but it starts with "Fur" instead of "For".

Just some teasing!

Yeah I know, but I could not be bothered to look up how to get the U with Umlaut.
