Hey, all... I got a question.

Thursday I was passing through Dickson TN (about 30 mi W of Nashville) and I saw a small train rumbling slowly southward through town. Only about 8 cars -- boxcars, mostly -- pulled by an older looking locomotive. (I'm sorry, I can only ID about 5 or 6 engines, and this wasn't one of them.) Anyway, the locomotive was mostly dark green, and it had VSRR painted on it.

Any idea what the rail line is, and what type of locomotive that might've been? I didn't catch the number, either... I was driving the other way.

Thanks,
~Gregory

Hmmm... now that you mention it, it looked EXACTLY like that. :D

Case closed, it would seem.

Well there ya go.

Now here's a question for ya. How'd you make the quote show the quotee's name?? Computer challenged minds want to know.

Hey, Mojo -- most everything I do around here is by accident. :P

But all I did to make that quote is to click on the icon in the upper right-hand corner of your post and -- sha-ZAM -- there it all was.

And thanks Guilford for the info on VSRR -- I was having a hard time figuring out why a Virginia train was in central Tennessee.
