Pretty rare and unusual power, a TEBC6. I spotted one the other day in traffic, waiting for the train to pass. BNSF 6290, in H1 paint scheme (ex BN 6290), was seen 3rd in line in the consist, with it's power unit, BNSF 6265, SD38P as the fourth (and final) unit in the consist.
FYI: 11 TEBC6's (T)raction (E)ffort (B)ooster (C)abbed (6)-axle units were modified from SD-9's in 1992 and 1993, that were originally owned by Burlington Northern. Strange looking slugs! -like a switcher on steroids.
As my luck would have it, it was pouring rain, so getting a decent photo of this unit was less than worth chasing. But I thought I'd share my spotting anyways, since (as always) my camera is rolling.
