I was hoping all of the contributers from the Chicago area could post here....we could discuss railroading in the Chicago area.

I'll start this off. I am Chris G. I live in a suburb of Chicago, an enjoy railfanning downtown Chicago, Elmhurst, DeKalb, Aurura, Naperville and pretty much anywhere there are busy tracks!

My photos here on rp.net can be seen here: http://www.railpictures.net/showphotos.php?userid=9627

Anyone else on the forums in Chicago?

I'm Nick Hart. I'm from Joliet. I enjoy railfanning on the BNSF Chillicothe Sub. It's a very busy line with many excellent photogenic locations. I railfan all over the place. BNSF Chicago Sub, CN Waukesha Sub, CP C&M Sub, you name it! My photos can be seen here at http://www.railpictures.net/showphotos.php?userid=3955. You can also view my train videos at http://www.dailymotion.com/NicTrain35. Happy railfanning!

Hi Chicago fans I know Bridgeview is a little east of you but I will be there in April for a weekend doing a show at the Golf Dome. I only have a few hours on Friday after setup would like to drive around and get a feel of the place so when we come back with more time. I see some tracks south of Midway can I get to them with out getting into any trouble, or do you know a better place not to far. Thank you. Stay Safe, Have Fun, Rail Fans Rule.

I am from Round Lake Beach in Lake County. Recently I have been getting out and taken more pictures throughout Lake County. Haven't been able to get any of my photos accepted yet though. BUT I'M STILL TRYING !!!

I have found a few places that are not too well own as well as the popular ones. Can't wait for better weather. Take care for now.
