If you have anymore photos of the DB, please upload! I really like to see German trains, again. It brings back many memories.
Thanks in advance,
PS: anyone else who has them, upload them too! :)

I will do so... and if the editors like the pics they will appear here.
Going to do some more on my "home station" Karlsruhe soon.

Oh Thanks!
Actually Kalsruhe is one of the few major cities in Germany I've never been to.
I see you've uploaded some new ones! Nice photos!
I was wondering though, what's this InterRegionalExpress?
When I was in Germany there was only these:
ICE - Inter City Express
IC - Inter City
EC - Euro City
IR - Inter Regio
RE - Regional Express
RB - Regional Bahn
S - Commuter Rail
And some special ones like Thalys and Metropolitan
So what's this IRE? Is it a long-distance train? Or something like the RE?
Thanks,

The IRE (InterRegioExpress) is a new regional train which doesnt stop as often as the RE (RegionalExpress).
For me it's kind of a replacement for the old IR (InterRegio) which was discontinued with the new schedule in december 2002.
Too bad, I really liked the IR. :-(
I also liked the IR, the nicest colour scheme in the DB I'd say. Of course, when they painted all long-distance trains in ICE-scheme and all regional in traffic-red, it was too late already.
I thought that was the dumbest think the Deutsche Bahn has done. I loved all the different colours they used to have (blue, green, orange, and red!).

Yeah i liked this colourful scheme too, but as you can see, there are still some of them around, also green ones...
I haven't then the orange ones too often, except for the S-Bahn in Stuttgart, Munich and Frankfurt....

Yeah, I was talking about the S-Bahn. :)
New photos again? Wow, you get out to the tracks a lot!

Just curious, what's the yellow train in the back?

Yeah ... i shot these photos this morning...
I had free time between my lessons and since my school is not far away from the station i decided to shoot some pics...
The yellow train in the back belongs to the KVV (Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund) and is used as S-Bahn.
