I.........like it? I don't know. It's up in the air. I prefer black D&RGW and real mountains ala:

The grey still gets me. I love the fact that they did it and I like that they have most of is as Aspen Yellow, but I'm still undecided about the grey. I like the Rio Grande paint from Ween's shot, but in many ways, the yellow is classic Grande.

I'd love to see any of these UP heritage jobs leading a train or two, but since I'm in SC, it's not looking too good for me.

Does anyone know if the 4141 is in dedicated service anywhere? Or can it roam?

UP 4141 is still dedicated to Texas trains, mostly Englewood and Ft. Worth trains. It hasn't left Texas in a little while.

I love D&RGW, it just makes me overjoyed to see their old units untouched, brings a tear to my eye.. I don't know what it is.. but I LOOOOVE D&RGW, maybe it's because they are of my earliest railfanning days... maybe I'll make a project to search out every D&RGW unit still in paint, even if it's been slightly touched up by UP or someother line.

Look for the SP heritage unit to be presented August 19 at Roseville.
