What does LBS stand for ?

I found that many locos stick a LBSxxxxxx inside the cab ,
for example :
[photoid=99499]
and the
[photoid=125356]

What does it stand for ?
I can just think of " liabilities " ......

Or where can I find these information on the internet ?

Thanks for reading ..

gordon,1kg is heavier than 1lb
1lb = 453.6gm
so 1lb = 0.4536km
