NS unit sulpher train 61n nearing Danville KY on the CS with CN 5718 (SD75I) and CN 5533 (SD60F). Not much good for us here in KY, but should be a good catch for the folks down south. Let us know if this power returns on the emtpies!!

Could any of you tell me where 60/61n ter,minate and originate?I was just wondering how far away the train is from the Piedmont Division.You hardly ever :( here tell of something like a :shock: CN :shock: unt coming through here!

it comes from up around Chicago, and goes down South of Atlanta. Empties and power will return north this weekend (I HOPE)... They wont get anywhere near the piedmont...sorry :x
this is not a everday move. The NS might run a 61N once a month, if that often...always with CN, WC or HLCX power...

61n departed chattanooga , Tn at 1 PM today [thursday] , heads up atlanta.

A northbound run Sunday over the 3rd/2nd district would be wonderful! Looks like I'll be in the Harriman area so hopefully I will stumble on this one.
