View Full Version : Question about posting trip report

I created a trip report for my excursion last Sunday for some friends of mine (who were too busy to come along). It links to three photos on RailPictures.Net, but it also links to thirteen photos on that "other" rrailroading web site. Is that a breech of etiquette?

It shouldnt be. Look at other posts around here, most have a mix of RP and non-RP shots!

I agree. I've never seen or heard of any problems with posting photos from other websites or your own. I've done it many times before as well and I've never had anyone tell me to stop. Sometimes the only way to have a complete trip report is by doing it that way anyway.

Now on the other hand, I'm not sure if other message boards have the same view if you post RP.net images on their site...There seems to be a lot of railroad photography "camps" out there.

I personally try to please everyone, but this is an impossibility on the internet.

Btw, nice report, Rob! I really enjoy your vintage Chessie stuff as well. Thanks for sharing!
