It was a really nice day for train watching and we were in the area, so we made a quick stop at Coal City. Some of the trains were BNSF Dash 9's, BNSF GEVO's, Cascade green SD40-2's, Warbonnets, and best of all, a rebuilt new logo (ex-GP40)! Trailing units are a BNSF B23-7 and a BN GP28M. Hope you all enjoy the photo!

Nice shot, Nick! Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!

I second that....I cant get enough of the widecab Dash-9's and Gevos around here. I also LOVE seeing low nose SD40-2's and GP40's......I get so sick of seeing all the high nose versions of those locos around here on a daily basis.

I do have one question though. How exactly does one rebuild a logo? Especially if its new. Would rebuilding it void the warranty?

I wonder if its a profitable business because I may be in the wrong line of work.

Good photo I suppose. Just more BNSF power from the same old angle. *sighs*

And? Believe it or not, some of us actually like and enjoy seeing 3/4 wedge shots like this. Besides, what BNSF power have you seen with dual A/C units like this sucker has on the roof?

Unfortunately it's viewed in the market that profits have peaked for logo rebuilding; I'd invest in pork bellies again.
