Can anyone here direct me to some sites that have clear and detailed diagrams and/or pictures of the internal workings of locomotives?

I've found a few sites, but they don't quite satisfy my thirst for certain details. I am interested in the complete internal workings of locomotives and some of the diagrams etc that I've found are OK for that.

What I'm really looking for though is more detail in some specific areas; particularly electric traction motors, hydraulic transmissions; pretty much everything that contributes to delivering power to the axles except for deisel engines themselves - although I did find the Deltic engine itself quite interesting.

Ever since I was a kid, I've wondered what electric traction motors looked like inside and I've never had a good look. Even subways and streetcars - or trams - catch my interest there. The generators on deisel/electric motors are also of particular interest. I do understand the basics of electric motors and generators, I'd like to see more details of implementations in rail applications though.

I've seen lots of sites that talk about books, but I'm really looking for more stuff online.

What exactly does that truck in your diagram go under?? Those side frames are rather unusual!
