I need your help. In the past 2 days I've submitted 20 images and they were all rejected for bad cropping. Any sugestions are appreciated.

I'm certainly not one of the experts on this site but here is my perspective.
I think there is too much dead space and weeds in the foreground.
Do you crop tight or wide? That depends if the surrounding scenery is of interest, or is it clutter?
I cropped and leveled the second one just to give a comparison. I don't think the picture quality is good enough to be accepted though.

I like the first shot. It meets the rule of thirds, although a bit differently than normal, since the engine is in the upper 1/3 corner, but with the train coming out of the mist, the foreground makes the shot. My only complaint with the shot is one noticeable dust spot on your sensor. You can clone it out without affecting anything, since it's in a gray area. I would clean that out and resubmit, then appeal if it gets rejected again. RP is a tough sell for bad weather photos, but that doesn't mean it's a bad shot.

The second shot has more problems. It has two very obvious dust spots on the image. You need to clean your sensor, or have it done for you. Also, the half sign visible on the left is distracting. I'd forget this one but the first one has potential.

Yep, congratulations Mark. By the way, I like the variety of your shots on RP.
