BNSF= bensef?

:) While talking to a fellow railfan he mentioned a BENSEF route that past near his home,not knowing any better I asked him what route was that and he said: the BURLINGTON NORTHERN SANTA FE. Has anyone else heard this lingo ? It does save alot of breath :D

I can remeber before the day of BNSF, some anti-Burlinton Northern people refered the railroad as Booze and Narcotics railroad,....
