View Full Version : Another rejection-"Poor video quality"--puzzled!!

Hi guys!!

I have here another video, rejected for "poor video quality." Please explain. I wonder if it is the way I am saving the video(file format, compression, etc.). It looks great on TV--sharp and clear. Thanks for all advice, comments, criticisms, etc.

Yes, the video is quite blocky, even the red line along the train is blurred... Not good. :-( What do you use for encoding your videos? IMHO, the .wmv codecs from windows movie maker are well suited for railvideos. I encode from .avi to .wmv 640x480 hi quality...

The use of a tripod is also recomended for two main reasons. The first, obviously, is to reduce the jumping images in your clip. The second: by having a stable image in compressed videos, each image (frame) in your clip doesn't have to be entirely recalculated because most of the scene does not change from frame to frame, resulting in more bandwidth to the moving parts and no blocks in the image...
