I need some Opinions

I am looking to upgrade from Windows Movie Maker to Vegas Movie Studio 8 Platinum Edition or Pinnacle Studio Ultimate Version 11. I was wondering if any of you guys have used either and let me know what you think of them.

I use Sony Vegas Pro 8 and I love it, its a bit similar in format (except I don't Studio can do HDV?). Pretty easy to use and learned the basics in about a day. The only complaint about it is that on my machine (AMD 64 with 3gig DDR) it does not like to capture HDV filmed in 24P smoothly, even with pulldown removed. All other forms of DV and HDV it pulls with no issues.

Still alot for me to learn on, but it is a nice program, and I think Studio is pretty much the same
