Aspect Ratio

This was rejected for Aspect Ratio out of proportion. I don't see it, am I missing something? It was processed the same as several other videos that made it into the database.

The video isn't composed in a way that flatters the subject.

Your subject is above center, leaving a lot of empty space below, and once the locomotive comes into view, it goes out through the top of the frame.

Was the letterbox added during editing/exporting? Some programs will allow you to add letterboxes and shift the frame to center your subject.

Looks a tad squished from top to bottom, but not much, almost not noticeable.


Make sure your aspect ratio is 1.000 and not 1.3333 when exporting for web.
