I'm attempting to submit my first video this evening (just became an RVElite member) and can't upload. It sits on the first screen for over half an hour and then tells me that I didn't select a video to upload. I am using a high-speed connection and IE7. The filename doesn't contain any non-standard characters, and the movie's extension is AVI. However, it is 154 MB large. Is that too large to upload (will the site not compress it enough)?

As Ian has already pointed out it has to 75MB or less. I use Windows movie maker to make mine fit the size rather than make to a bit rate when they get too big.
And unless you have a fast upload you are going to get timed out with a bad data message. So unless you can get it all up in less than 30' open a second window to Railvideos and do something there every 10' or so to keep logged in.

Thanks - looks like a good program to use. I was able to size down the video with it.
