We are proud to announce (finally) that we are now accepting international submissions to our website. We have heard from many of you who would like to contribute your material and are glad to be able to offer this!
The same general rules and standards apply to this international stuff as we apply to our North American uploads. Please remember to upload your BEST material, not all of it.
Thanks and we hope you enjoy this new venture! :)

ANYONE HERE!
I really wanted to say that!
Anyway, I was wondering if it would be possible to add foreign nations to the drop-down list at the front page. Or perhaps the option to display international photo's (not specified by nation). Considering that there aren't a lot of foreign pics yet that may at least for now be a better solution.
At least the Netherlands should be in by now, I have been uploading quite a bit recently! :D :twisted:
Keep up the good work! Great website!

Hopefully the UK will also be listed soon, I uploaded my first last night and have 20 years worth of photography to sift through....including a few from Amsterdam Central a couple of years ago!

20 YEARS!!! Damn!
I've got, euhm, 20 hours! What you see above, is pretty much what I got! Some more pictures of the same trains at other angles, but other then that...
If you want to count my plane pictures though it gets more interesting.

Guys,
Thanks for the uploads. If you two could come up with some small sort of list of places you would like to see added to the upload page and email them to me (cstarnes@mounet.com), we'll see what we can do about getting them updated.
Thanks!
Chris
Good idea Chris, I'll think about that while at work today :wink:

I'd say that for now these should be included. All these nations have pictures in the database.
* Belgium
* France
* Germany
* India
* the Netherlands
* the United Kingdom
Maybe it is also a good idea to enter the continent (Europe, Asia...).
I think that's a good list to start with, but I think Australia should be added as it is quite a railfan friendly place, perhaps some Asian countries ought to be on the list too, I'm not familliar with how big this hobby is in Asia but I know we already have some Malaysian pictures on here and I have a few of my own to add-maybe China and Japan should make the guest list too?
I have to admit that I'm not familliar with how big 'railfanning' is in other countries but I don't think you could go too far wrong if you were to simply list the top countries for aviation photography.
Matt
Germany and Japan have like the most impressive trains, I'd expect there to be a lot of photos from those countries...
Oh yes, is it possible to list the stations in the search and upload list? For standardization purposes like airports at Airliners and Jetphotos.

It would be nice to see non-North American countries in the upload page and search drop down menus. Perhaps you could use the menus from jetphotos.net?

Don`t forget SWITZERLAND! We have the most exciting scenery all over the world. I have added some pictures in the database to show you all what I want to say with this.
Have a look:
