View Full Version : What kind of camera do you use?

I was wondering what kinda cameras people here at Railpictures.net are using.?

I use a Olympus D-540 3.2 Megapixel digital and a Old Minolta SRT201

I haven't had the best of luck with these and think I may need at least a 5 Megapixel to get better shots.

Any ideas?

I use a Nikon CoolPix 2100 2.1 megapixel. It's very limiting as far as getting creative or dramatic shots, but you just have to work around that. If I can get shots accepted with the teeny Nikon, anybody is capable of getting their stuff accepted!

By the way, I'm accepting donations for an upgrade. PM me for details on how you can help!!! :lol:

Hey a fellow Missourian!
I use a HP Photosmart 945. It is 5.3 MP, has a built in 61mm zoom, and will accept additional zooms and/or telophoto lenses on top of its own. So far I have been extremely successful with my camera.

Hello everybody,

I use an Olympus C-3000z 3.4 megapixel and my fathers old Nikon 35mm SLR.
So far I am very happy with my Olympus C-3000z,But I have to brighten my photos most of the time to make them look better.But hey it's fun!

I'm still using my Canon Rebel from 1994 shooting slides. I'd love a digital Rebel but can't spend the dollars yet.

Canon EOS Elan 7 for a body
* Canon 70-200mm f/4L
* Canon 28-135mm IS USM
* Tamron 70-300mm

All slides - mostly Fuji Provia 100, some Provia 400, and some Agfa Scala 200 for the B&W slides. Only way I'm going digital is if I win the Lotto and can afford a Canon 1Ds 11 megapixel... :D
