I had this photo rejected for being too dark.It doesnt seem dark on my screen!Any help would be nice.Thanks

I don't know about being too dark but there is not much contrast in the picture.

It appears too light to me, and the sky is completely blown out. Looks like you shot right into the sun and then pumped up the brightness to compensate for underexposure.

Was it actual B&W film, or just a desaturated digital capture?? If you're shooting B&W, it might help to have a yellow or orange contrast filter to keep the sky from looking so bleak.

It was really a B&W film capture.I should try rescanning it.But thanks for your information.

It was submitted once in color along with the 4 times you submitted it in B&W....

The angle of the shot is marginal at best. I think being on the other side of the tracks would have been a little better.
