View Full Version : Leveling Horizon

I recently made a couple of videos, they aren't the best, but I would like some advice on leveling the horizon. Here's the link to the video:

By the looks of it, the horizon just needs to be rotated a little bit, is there software I can use to do that? I would probably need to crop it a little bit afterward as well.

I also have a second video here:

http://www.rail-videos.net/video/view.php?id=3333

I don't see anything wrong with it (it was accepted after all) aside from the clash of background noise (lawn mower, stump remover, and a backhoe..). I like hearing the engines rev up at around 0:43 though.

Anyways, I would appreciate any help, I'm not sure Windows Movie Maker has the ability to "rotate" footage.

Thanks in advance,

I'd have to say let the video go, because it is poorly framed, unlevel, and all that growth in the foreground is distracting (foreground clutter). I don't know if there is software out there that lets you do something of the magnitude of leveling video, I just don't think it's possible to level a video. I use iMovie, and I know that doesn't have any sort of leveling tools. Sorry!

According to a friend of mine, some advance editing sofwares allow you to level video. However it will de grade quality, I would not even try it if the video is not In HD or if the subject is very unlevel.
