This is a shot taken at night- isnt it supposed to be dark? And I know theres a pole there.

:edit: gave it a more permanent host

How was the photo taken? Moving train with just the flash, or stopped train with camera on a tripod set to auto exposure?

Cropping should be taken into consideration here as well. There's too much dead space in front of the locomotive and I would also crop about one inch off the top.

I like this shot. But I like shots with interesting lights and relections. I'm guessing you used a long exposure to get the existing lights and a flash for the reflective lettering. The reflection off the Scotchlite lettering, the streetlights, along with the lights in the windows of the shops in the background add neat color. I guess the dark area of the trucks will be hard to get past the screeners, but overall, I think this is a really interesting shot.

this was a moving train- i set the ISO for 400 and it came by at about 20-25 mph

I was way off on how you got the shot, but I still like the contrast and splashs of color provided by the lights in this low light photo.
