Finding out the Train Number...

I was wondering, the Locomotive ID is usually on the Loc, how about the Train #? How do you find that out?

Lastly, what about the Locomotive Type?

I haven't had problems with the Loc ID or Type yet, just the Train # is sort of hard for me, any tips?
