What's real picture subject ?
This picture was rejected with "Composition (Balance): The subject is awkwardly positioned in the frame." reason :x:

So, I have make appeal with this explanation:
"I don't understood the rejection reason, picture explanation talk about the station location and tracks and not about the right lower train ! This train is not the subject of the picture and is only present in global picture composition."

Second one have been rejected with "overexposed" reason:

What's your opinion ?

Have to say that the small visible train down in the bottom right corner does force one to go looking for it, however the scene overall is impressive. The second one (the B/W) is a bit overexposed for me (maybe not others), and the two trains present at the station are both not free of obstructions in front of them.

Here's my take. I seriously love the first one and the exposure was spot on. I think for RP purposes, they might be looking for a little more breathing room along the right side between the train and edge of the photo.

The second one is nice as well. I'm guessing the overexposed rejection is from the concrete/sidewalk areas. If you can lower that, I'd think (again, only my opinion) it'd stand a very good chance of being accepted.

Hope that helps.
