It's gonna be a close one...

Race to the top of the day - which one will get there first?
(If even at all, lol....). Both posted at the same time.
Taking bets now!

Tom and Mike - it's up to you two for the next two weeks!

PS: Mike, sorry for outpacing your fantastic Lakeside UP shot!

I was only after edging out the Heritage shot earlier, lol.

I'll be lucky to outpace the above shot even with a 7 hour head
start.

I think Vegas should get in on this action.

Maybe the attention should go to this shot?

That's a cool shot but the steam obscuring the engine doesn't do the image any favors. I saw that - John, if it was a CB&Q /C&S, I think I'd have left ya a comment, lol. Still - the real deal and two engines, it's certainly worthy of attention.

I clicked on it as soon as it was posted. I liked the linked shot in John's caption even more. It made me wonder if OM and OY were in the shop back in 1961....yikes! John apparently posted the linked shot a couple of years before I started frequenting this site.

No kidding, and you can tell what it is from the thumbnail - assuming you have seen a broken knuckle before.

Heck, if broken knuckle shots are that note worthy, James Stewart could pose with the one in the backyard.

10,000 views - I can seem them now.

That shot would be my choice. "Recent nostalgia" has far less appeal to me. (Yes, I did go to Spencer and had a lot of fun...).

Great shot, but I couldn't resist doing this.
