Could this be acceptable?
Any improvements I could make?

I can see two things, in this picture, that I have had rejects for.

1. Subject (train) to far away.
If you want the whole signal bridge in the photo, let the
locomotive get closer. This leads to #2.

2. Cropping.
For me, the Northtown signal bridge has been a problem; I rarely
get a picture accepted where the bridge is totally included.

For this picture, try cropping the left side closer to the unit on point.

What was it rejected for?

It is in the que line.

I would never say "too far away". An ariel shot is too far away.

I would crop it off on the left.

Any better?

Looks like a typical High Sun Angle issue to me. Did it make it in or not?

hoops 08-11-2005 09:57 PM

Right now it is the 22nd in the que out of 102 photos.

I like it. I like how you got all the cars coming down the line. I hope this one gets in.

hoops 08-11-2005 11:43 PM

did not make it

busyEMT 08-12-2005 02:17 PM

It looks like it was either high sun or very humid (my guess). There is a glaze over the picture. What was it rejected for? The last photo could do with a bit more chopping of the left side.

Edit:I would go almost to the left signal.
