Sandpatch Grade Heads Up
 

If you're planning on visiting Sandpatch this fall, here's a warning about Mance. Do not cross the tracks. I was there on Columbus Day and sitting at the top of the hill, beside the cabin overlooking the curve at Mance. The landowner/leaser has it posted and I didn't see the signs. He saw I was there and called the police to report me for trespassing. I was let off with a warning but wanted to pass it along so nobody else has to go through it.

That field or any on that side of the tracks. As the guy put it to me while we were waiting, cross the tracks and your trespassing on either the property he leases or on railroad property.
