I shot this at about 7 16 tonight. Is the sun not low enough to make it a good glint shot?

sun needs to be really low for a glint shot to work out, compare to these shots

The sky, and lack of color kills it.

Humm Ill try again some other time. Thanks. Traffic on the UP here was really really slow by that time the bugs were starting at me so didnt stick around. By the time Id left I would have thought that had been a good time for one as well but Im still learning after 4 years of shooting trains, Im trying to get better at figuring out locations and what the do and donts are ect. But we cant win them all can we! Could I try again latter this fall when the crops are turned and the trees are changing ?
