Yea, all this tornado stuff is unreal. I have never seen such destruction on such a wide scale. There is some really good quality videos on Youtube.

Note all the trees just blown over, and at 6:20 a railroad trestle just blown over like a toy. This line is the Alabama Southern RR, a WATCO shortline, former GM&O / IC.

Here is what their website says:

A massive tornado hit service areas for the Alabama Southern Railroad on Wednesday, April 27.
ABS operations headquarters Tuscaloosa was one of the hardest hit areas in the state and
our thoughts and prayers are with all those whose lives were impacted by the terrible storms.
Hurricane Creek Bridge on the ABS was destroyed by the tornado and an update will follow
regarding service changes on the line.

Anybody else think Troy should turn in his man card just for mentioning it?

Fire away.

The opinion of the colonies has not changed in 235 years... you rebels. It's a Commonwealth thing, I suppose... I don't get it either.

That said, she's a royally nice piece of a$$

That damage is pretty bad. I am amazed at how destructive tornados can be.

Can the RR not apply for some of that rebuild money that will be coming from the Gov't? Beyond the destroyed trestle (ironically named Hurricane Creek Trestle no less), the track looks to be in very good shape... this does not appear to be a run down property.
