Confused on "Bad Motive"

I really liked this one:

I thought that the lighting was really cool on this. The light color on the left side is a bunch of stains by the way. I'm not really sure what they are. Is there anything I can do to improve it, should I try an appeal, or should I let it go? Thanks!

p.s. I can go back pretty much any night and try this again. Should I try from a different angle?

To me its just a caboose, only thing that makes it different is thats its a night shot, but that still doesn't do anything for me. If you maybetry to include something in the foreground or something, try to liven it up a bit. maybe then it has a chance?.. I'd let it go unless there is something that makes it special other than being a caboose at night. The lighting doesn't seem to flow either it looks undone, may just be my eyes though. Just my opinion.

It has an unnatural look to it. Like a deer in the headlights look. Specifically, it looks as if the caboose was illuminated with headlights. The left side is reflecting far too much light.

If you ever get back there, try a day shot.
