Can it get through ?

Hi everyone,

Most of my pictures didn't get through the screening process lately and I was wondering if you think this one could do.

Thanks,

I personally think it's a fascinating shot! Unfortunately, I'm not a screener. I can see them PEQ'ing it, not that it's justifiable, but it certainly is possible.

I would have to agree on every point.

RP would take it were the nose of the train at the station visible. As is, hard to say, worth a try, i like it very much.

I like it, too.

A refreshing perspective far distant from an endless parade of routinely accepted shots deemed more suitable by admin to represent itself. Thanks for the link - I've added it to my favorites in hopes of filling the voids left here within your portfolio. So many great shots, it's a shame there is not one site to see the majority in kind.

Congrats on your 2013 CRPA Award!

Just noticed the rainbow. Nice!

Hi again,

Well it has been PEQed with this one : http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...38&key=3563889

Well at least some of you told here they like it. For your information, these two pictures have been done from the cab of formers Eurostar trains that now run in France only. These kind of TGV are very heavy and poor adherence. When you leave Paris, you have to wait around 50 km to reach the speed of 300 kph (160mph)!

Wow, surprise; RP loves cab shots. But, as sometimes is the case, one has to RP-ize a shot if one wants it on, despite the effort perhaps moving the shot away from one's preferred concept. Here, I'd do some shadows work so more of the interior is visible. Knock down the highlight on the (rule?) book. Crop sides and top - what to you may be attractive dark framing is to RP probably dead dark space.

BTW, cool that you placed the "TGV" on the wall in the center of the windshield.
