Well, that was stupid...
I admit--I eyeballed it to start, and received a rejection for "horizon unlevel-leaning left". That's a mistake on my part.
http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...24&key=8768467 So I gave it 0.9 degree CW rotation, only to receive another "horizon unlevel-leaning left". http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...59&key=2533291 I'm now lost. I've leveled it based on the verticals of the first stacked container, which is near the center of the photo. Where do I go from here? /Ted |
Well, we are on a curve, so some lean is in order. An additional 2 degrees CW looks good to me.

I don't know if it is a crop, but as a landscape I'd like to see more mountain, sky, a little more room in front and less ballast in foreground. Rotation?? no use asking, just have to do it and hope nothing else turns up?

Thanks, gentlemen, for the assist. I decided to work with an adjacent (1 millisecond earlier) frame, in order to give Bob a little more "room" in front of the train (just to show my appreciation). Even that took some significant CW rotation per miningcamper's recommendation. Sorry, Bob, more sky/more mountain/less ballast will have to wait for next time. [I don't disagree with you.] /Ted |
Think it came out nice, the way the forum should work!!
