MKIII, you say? It took Canon quite a few years just to release an MKII; have you heard any news on a III release date?

At earliest it would be late this year before we hear anything about a MKIII.

I dont see the sense in waiting for something that may never come, the 1ds MK IV is WAY overdue and a lot of 1DS users are upset about that.

If the original 5d had a decent AF system (outside of center point), had sensor cleaning and a decent LCD, and live view, it would be the perfect camera.

I don't have any issues with the AF, but I agree on the other stuff...but to top it off, 6-8 fps would really kick ass, too. 3.5 is just so damn slow.
