Just been letting these little aggravations go but since the forum is so quiet I'll throw this in.

Has a few flaws, but so do lots of old slides scans lately, not going to try to fix.

I guess I should have know better, takes a lot of time for nothing but I thought photo had some relevance, historically.

Given the age and subject, I would have hoped it would be accepted. The backlighting is not especially bad either where the whole nose is just dark. Oh well...thanks for sharing here.

Very high sun, but I think the subject engines' interestingness outweighs that!
They have every right to reject it, but we have every right to like it anyway.

I would have accepted it. I would have accepted it 50 times before another edge of space drone shot.

Agree 100%. There should be a "Distorted Image - Drone Too High" rejection. While there is no current rejection that applies to those shots, constant acceptance of them is like rewarding bad behavior.

Bob, I remember you saying that you don't like Flickr because people post non-rail shots, and I am guilty of that, but is also a good place to post shots that you feel worthy of sharing that don't fit the RP mold.

I used to get upset about RP rejections (about 20% of the total).
Flickr was my place to post the rejects at first. That changed radically once my Flickr views exceeded my RP views. Non-rail shots there? So what!

I ran that UP shot through a couple of editors:
